Terms & Conditions

Last updated 1 August 2026

1. The contract

A contract is formed when we confirm your reservation and issue a booking reference beginning LHOR-. The contract is between the lead guest named on the reservation and L'Horizon Maritime Ltd, and covers all guests travelling on that reference.

2. Fares and payment

Fares are quoted per guest in US dollars and include accommodation, all meals aboard, house wines, port charges and government taxes. Shore excursions, spa treatments and rare-list wines are charged separately. A cabin is held for seven days without payment; a deposit of twenty-five percent is then due, with the balance payable ninety days before departure.

3. Guests and documentation

Each guest is responsible for holding a passport valid for six months beyond the date of disembarkation and any visas required by the ports of call. We cannot refund a fare where boarding is refused for want of documentation.

4. Itinerary variation

Ports and anchorages are subject to weather, sea state and port authority direction. The master may vary the itinerary at any time in the interests of safety. Where a substantive port is missed we will offer an equivalent call or a pro-rata credit; a variation of this kind does not entitle a guest to cancel without charge.

5. Conduct aboard

The master may disembark any guest whose conduct endangers the vessel, crew or other guests. No refund is payable in that event.

6. Insurance and liability

Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical repatriation and cancellation is a condition of carriage. Our liability is limited as provided by the Athens Convention relating to the Carriage of Passengers and their Luggage by Sea.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
